StuRents Sales Manager
StuRents.com is a dynamic and growing startup looking to hire our first sales contractor to work with us to grow our networks, manage our brand and primarily drive sales across a number of locations. StuRents.com is an online student property portal facilitating advertising and management of properties to students across ten UK universities. We are expanding and driving towards more direct sales to develop the business. We are looking for an individual who is proactive in creating and chasing leads and has a good track record of sales experience. You will be responsible for a number of general management tasks, running five university networks.
There is an additional emphasis on marketing, deploying campaigns to a budget, advertising to the student population and managing StuRents Campus Reps, with the overall goals of driving traffic and executing sales.
We have an extremely aggressive commission strategy and we are happy to reward success. As a StuRents Sales Manager, you will be required to build relationships with the university, landlords, letting agents and local businesses, whilst collaborating with the entire student community to build brand awareness.
An office space in a startup hub is provided, where you will work closely with our web developer and a number of other startup companies, providing a structured and fun environment to work in.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver network sales targets and help/support growth targets
- Develop new leads and manage relationships
- Run and manage marketing campaigns
- Provide feedback from customers and contribute to product development ideas
- Deliver exceptional customer service
Knowledge and experience:
- B.A. or equivalent university degree beneficial
- Sales experience desired
- Entrepreneurial attitude and strong sales skills, with self-starting attitude
- Able to turn an issue into a resolution or a sale
- Great rapport builder
- Experience of hitting and exceeding targets
- Good timekeeping
- Commercially aware with passion for the business
- Self-motivated with a desire to continuously improve knowledge

StuRents Campus Reps
StuRents.com is looking for Campus Reps. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing start-up, have some fun, and gain experience that will last a lifetime.
As a StuRents.com Campus Rep, you'll run marketing campaigns, facilitate university housing talks, work with local landlords and letting agents, and build relationships on campus. You'll collaborate with the StuRents team in executing marketing activities to increase awareness and adoption of StuRents.com as the prime venue for student house hunting.
This is a position that takes energy, enthusiasm, commitment and passion. It takes an understanding of the StuRents mission and an ability to quickly understand the dynamics of an evolving student property market. We are looking for a leader to inspire peers, collaborate with the university and local landlords and businesses, and simply get things done.
