A student accommodation complex in the centre of Cardiff is set to be completed this summer.
Principality Commercial are providing finance for Charnwood Group to create Park Lane, a development of 34 studio apartments, on land behind the former office space at 23 and 24 Park Place.
Richard Wales from Principality Commercial said: "Cardiff has a growing population of domestic and international students, and over recent years a number of new student developments have been built in the city to meet this rising demand.
"The facilities... are designed at the highest standards, in the centre of Cardiff, close to the university and the city's popular shopping and entertainment areas. Having this quality of student accommodation... will help to cement Cardiff's position in the premier league of UK universities, being desirable from the perspective of both education quality and lifestyle."
The self-contained students have a bedroom, en suite, study space and fully integrated kitchen, and are also fitted with a flat-screen TV, broadband and Wi-Fi.
Andrew Creighton from Charnwood Group also reiterated how excited the company are "to be working on this "development of luxury student accommodation", and to "welcome our first students in September."
