Developers Crosslane have today unveiled a new £20 million student accommodation block in the heart of Bristol.
The former office block has been converted into 166 new studios, which it is now marketing at £170 per week. Each room comes with en-suite Bathroom facilities, a kitchen and TV, as well as access to a 250MB wifi network. The block also comes with a gym, around the clock CCTV and parking.
With the student population of Bristol booming, the developer clearly thinks there is scope for expansion. The director of Crosslane students had this to say:
"As the largest city in south west England, Bristol is a hugely popular student destination with a top 20 university but with a significant number of students without access to purpose-built accommodation. With the current supply and demand dynamic, Crosslane Student Developments is pleased to help decrease the pressure on student accommodation with our newly opened site at Broad Street and remains keen to explore other opportunities in this vibrant city."
