Barings Forward Funds PBSA Schemes

This week Cardiff University has announced that it has raised £300 million in a bond issue.
The bonds issued will mature in 2055 and until then they will be paying 3.1% on the money raised. The low interest rate makes this the lowest yield bond issue ever in the UK education sector.
Much of the money raised will likely go towards the university's planned innovation campus, among other things. It also follows hot on the heels of other universities who are looking to expand and comes at a time where the bond market in the UK in general is booming.
