A New Development in Aberdeen is Going Before the Public Next Week

Posted by Ross Jones-Morris in

A public exhibition is being held on April 19th so that developers can gauge interest in a proposed new development on Aberdeen's King Street.

Developer West Coast Estates has traditionally invested in the non-student sector but are now looking to move into the student market. The development (if it goes ahead) will primarily serve University of Aberdeen students.

Director of West Coast Estates, Iftikar Mian, has said of the exhibition, “I would highly encourage those living in the vicinity of this site to come along to the exhibition on Tuesday to view our proposals and importantly give us your feedback. At West Coast Estates, we value the involvement of the local community and are keen to involve the public in this project as much as possible. It has been well documented that there is a serious lack of student housing in Aberdeen and this site provides the perfect opportunity to deliver high-quality accommodation in a location ideal for students."

The exhibition itself is due to take place at Aberdeen Sports Village, from 4pm to 8pm.
