The developer behind plans to build student accommodation at Packsaddle in Penryn will be holding a consultation on the plans at Penryn Town Hall this coming Wednesday.

At a recent meeting of Penryn Town Council, two members of the public voiced their objections to the proposals, and councillors decided to defer a decision on whether to support the application until additional consultation had taken place.

Currently the plans have attracted 26 objections, with concerns being raised over the unsightly nature of the building as well as the possibility that the high density of population could upset the quiet area.

Other objections included concerns over parking, possible anti-social behaviour and the devaluing of house prices.
