X1 The Campus located in Salford and consisting of 272 studios and penthouse apartments has just been put up for sale.

The student accommodation block is based in the centre of the city's student area and is within walking distance of the university and Salford Crescent train station.

Despite Salford City Council still awaiting to provide a decision on planning permission, the apartments have been put up for sale with penthouses being priced at £109,995.

Included within the development are plans for a gym, cinema room and a roof top terrace. There are also plans for bicycle storage and each penthouse will come fully furnished.

The accommodation is the latest in a line of what is being described as "luxury student" housing. Vita Living, which is based in Manchester city centre has reportedly already been a hit and continues the trend in high quality purpose built student accommodation.
