Crosslane Student Developments has officially opened its latest student accommodation development in Newcastle.

Albert Place was opened last week and consists of 133 beds in cluster flats, and 1 self-contained studio apartment.

The site is located adjacent the University of Northumbria's City Campus East and is just a short walk to the main campus of the University of Northumbria. Newcastle University is also located nearby, as are metro and bus links.

The site also comes equipped with a common room, onsite gym and landscaped courtyard area.

Prime Student Living will manage the property, which is reportedly 75% let for the 2017-18 academic year.

Crosslane Student Developments bought the brand-new site on Albert Street in August 2016 and teamed up with Torsion Group to act as the main contractor.

Albert Place represents the fourth student property Crosslane has developed in Newcastle over the last four years, delivering a total of 700 beds. Despite the recent influx of purpose-built student accommodation in the city, the company has yet another development already in the pipeline.
