In the latest Times Higher Education World University rankings, Kingston University is among the 58 British institutions named among the top 500 in the world for clinical, pre-clinical and health subjects.

The ranking primarily concerns the activities of the university's Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education, which delivers training in the ares of midwifery, nursing, radiography, paramedic science and rehabilitation science.

However, students and researchers engage in a large range of cross faculty work also. Particularly with colleagues from the University's Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing. As Associate Dean of Research in the Faculty of Science, Professor Declan Naughton said: "The University works cross-faculty through research centres led by internationally-renowned specialists in their field."

"Researchers and students are able to share expertise and resources through collaboration on studies in a range of health science areas, including diabetes, cancer and public health."
