The University of Manchester Ranked One of the Most International

The University of Manchester has been placed in the world's top 100 institutions in each of the five broad subject areas measured in the 2018 QS World University Rankings by Subject. In total, more than 1,100 universities were included in the analysis across 48 subjects in five subject areas.

Manchester University scored highly in each of the areas measured, including arts and humanities, engineering and technology, life sciences and medicine, natural sciences, and social sciences and management.

The University was in the UK top ten for each of these subjects and was also ranked in the top 100 for 37 individual subjects.

Meanwhile, the institution has been ranked the 26th most international university in the world by a separate independent analysis by the Times Higher Education.

Overall the Times Higher Education ranked Manchester as the 54th most international in the world.
