The University of Derby has been ranked in the top 10 nationally in the Advance HE Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey 2018.
The sector wide survey is the only one of its kind to gain insight from taught postgraduate students about their learning and teaching experience.
The university also received an overall satisfaction score of 88%, up from 86% in 2017.
The survey reflects on the postgraduate student experience and received more than 85,000 responses nationally.
Professor Kathryn Mitchell, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Derby, said: "I'm delighted that the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey shows that our postgraduate taught students are positive about the learning and teaching they receive at Derby."
"Our teaching and learning strategy has strengthened our strong and longstanding commitment to high-quality teaching, student engagement and teaching staff development, and these results are testament to the positive outcomes it is providing for postgraduate students."
"We were rated Gold in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) and we are delighted to receive this latest accolade, which further reinforces Derby's position as an institution that delivers excellence for its postgraduate students."
