Kingston University has climbed seven places in the Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide league table for 2019.

The University was ranked 100th out of 132 universities, representing an increase of 12 places over the last two years.

Kingston now shares its position with Middlesex and the University of South Wales.

The University was able to improve its position in terms of student experience and teach quality, ranking 83 and 95 respectively.

In the Times and Sunday Times' first ever social inclusion rankings, Kingston was ranked 18th in the country and was praised for its award-winning focus on supporting students from black and minority ethnic backgrounds.

Commenting on the ranking, Vice-Chancellor Professor Steven Spier said: "The rise of seven places in the Times and Sunday Times league table after rising five places last year is an endorsement of the efforts across the University to improve academic performance and ensure we deliver the highest quality teaching and learning experience for our students."
