Images have been released detailing a proposed student development in Swansea alongside the River Tawe.
The project could see the construction of 706 student bedrooms split between four blocks with access to a cafe and gym
The new development would be on the site of the old Unigate Dairy adjacent to Morfa Road and close to the St David student accommodation.
Outline plans were submitted to Swansea council earlier in the year but now a detailed application has been put forward.
Projected growth in student numbers and a lack of private PBSA has led to a flurry of applications being submitted.
Commenting on the application, Nigel Short, of Short Bros said: "Swansea needs to step up a gear and match the high standard of apartment living available in Cardiff and other university cities."
