Canterbury Hall in Preston has been shortlisted in multiple categories of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors awards.

The scheme opened last year and includes 191 apartments, a cinema room, gym and roof terrace.

It has now been nominated for awards in the best high-volume housing development, best inclusive building, best education building and best large commercial project.

The accommodation was developed by Fraser Morgan and designed by David Cox Architects.

Managing director of Fraser Morgan Mark Robinson said: "We're absolutely thrilled our Canterbury Hall development has been recognised in this way."

"This scheme was always about offering something different within the student accommodation sector in Preston - providing not just a place to live, but an inspiring environment that allows students to thrive."

"More than anything these nominations show the quality and craftsmanship that's gone into creating this sustainable, high-performing building. It's a credit to our construction partner, architect and wider professional team of consultants for delivering such an outstanding project."
