The University of Bath has chosen Rydon to deliver its Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems.

The new institute will utilise the engineering expertise of the University of Bath for the benefit of the UK's automotive industry.

The facilities will be at the Bristol and Bath Science Park and it is designed to lead the development of future generations of ultra-low emission vehicles in partnership with McLaren, Ford and Jaguar Land Rover.

Stride Treglown is acting as the lead consultant on the project, designing overall building envelope, office spaces and site-side development.

The institute is expected to open in 2020.
