Curlew Capital's second UK student housing fund has purchased a student accommodation asset from Aperion Capital.
Poland House in Stratford was sold by Aperion to Curlew for an undisclosed sum having been bought in 2015.
The 100-bed scheme is adjacent to a vacant property that is suitable for redevelopment.
Commenting on the acquisition, Paul Oliver, CEO and found of Curlew Capital, suggested the asset will further enhance the development programme for the Curlew Student Trust 2 purpose-built student accommodation fund.
Meanwhile, Vojkan Brankovic, Apeiron CEO and founder, added: "Apeiron remains committed to its core markets in the UK and Germany where we continue to see excellent investment opportunities."
"Whilst student housing in the UK continues to offer attractive returns for investors, we see particularly strong opportunities in UK and German logistics real estate. We feel that the time is right to focus our investments into these core areas in partnership with our investors."
