Future Generation has revealed two substantial new blocks of student accommodation alongside a £55m development facility from Maslow Capital.

Dubbed Luxurio and The Vantage, the schemes in Loughborough and Nottingham will create a total of 943 student beds.

The scheme in Loughborough will provide 458 bedrooms, with Rio Architects appointed to design the mixed-use scheme, which will include landscaped gardens, communal courtyards, roof terraces and green living walls.

Located in Aumberry Gap, the development will be the first PBSA scheme to be delivered in the town centre and will range from three to seven-storeys.

Meanwhile, The Vantage in Nottingham will consist of 485 beds over 12-storeys, making it one of the tallest buildings in the city.

Commenting on the schemes, Andrew Southern, chairman of Southern Grove and Future Generation, said: "Both these schemes will be hugely disruptive in their local markets as students come to realise that premium accommodation can be good value, and that's a message we will deliver nationwide."

"Student accommodation in the right location remains an incredibly strong, long-term proposition and we will continue to put other providers under immense pressure by raising the bar on the level of service and quality students should expect."

The two schemes represent Future Generation's fourth and fifth developments, with construction already underway at a site in Guildford, following the delivery of accommodation in Colchester and Sheffield.
