Town Centre Block to be Extended

Currently holding 9 flats, the block at 15 Wootton Gardens in Bournemouth, is to be extended by one floor and converted into 8 houses of multiple occupation. The scheme would be made up of a studio flat, six four-bed HMO units and two three-bed units. Although there is no parking available, the developers believe that occupants will be able to use other methods of transport such as busses and can also make use of bicycle storage.

The planning statement states: "The proposal comprises eight self-contained student units. The student units are to be let through Bournemouth University lettings service and managed by Park Place Properties Ltd."

The scheme is yet to be considered by the planning committee.

The developer claims to have already gained planning permission for three three-bed and three four-bed HMO units.
