Curlew Capital Appoint Senior Development Manager

Curlew Capital, a UK-based alternative real estate development, asset and fund manager, has appointed Andrew Davis as Senior Development Manager.

Davis will play a critical role in delivering Curlew's purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development programme, as the business looks to deliver c.5,000 beds over the next three years. This includes eight schemes totalling 2,600 beds currently under construction.

The development programme will significantly increase Curlew's existing UK PBSA portfolio, which totals more than 3,500 beds across 14 schemes in established university cities.

Davis joins from Yelverton Properties, a UK focused commercial investment and development business, where he helped delivered schemes totalling over GBP 100 million.

Curlew's current schemes totalling GBP 340 million, are being delivered on behalf of its second PBSA fund, Curlew Student Trust 2 (CST 2). Four projects located in Brighton, Stratford, Manchester and Exeter are due to complete in time for the 2023-23 academic year. A further three forward funded developments in Sheffield, Leeds and Norwich are due to complete in time for the 2020-21 academic year, with a fourth scheme in Coventry scheduled to complete in 2021.
