Future Generation has completed a topping out ceremony for its £110 Guilden Park purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) development in Guildford.

Founder of Future Generation Andrew Southern was joined by councillor Jan Harwood, as well as Guildford Borough Council's cabinet member for housing.

The 533-bed scheme in Lido Rd, represents the largest development ever created by the company.

Harwood said: "It was fantastic to see Guilden Park progressing despite the challenges 2020 has thrown at it."

"High quality student accommodation is hugely important to the future success of our town. I look forward to Guilden Park opening its doors to the next generation of students."

Andrew commented: "Guilden Park is the jewel in the crown of the Future Generation portfolio to date. Our future tenants will enjoy the highest standard of living available to students anywhere in the country."
