Planning officials are due to decide on whether to grant planning permission to developers looking to build a three-storey block of student accommodation in Bournemouth.

The applicant, New Milton Property Limited, is looking to build the PBSA in Wimborne Road, which is currently being used as a car park.

The scheme would contain 13 student bedrooms, comprised of seven one-bedroom flats and six two-bedroom flats.

According to documents submitted as part of the application, the student accommodation will not lead to an adverse impact on the character and amenity of surrounding uses.

Some locals have opposed the scheme, suggesting there was already too much student accommodation in the area, whilst others are concerns about anti-social behaviour.
