Bond Wolfe has brought to market a £14m block of purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) in Birmingham.

Douper Hall in Dawlish Road contains 129 bedrooms with plans to add an additional 40 rooms.

The scheme comes equipped with a communal kitchen, as well as living and laundry facilities.

The freehold investment is reportedly producing gross rental income of just under £1m.

Commenting on the scheme, James Mattin, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: "There is a healthy student population of around 63,000 students in full-time education in Birmingham and purpose-built student accommodation of this quality is at a premium."

"This is a first-class investment opportunity, and we are expecting strong interest from overseas as well as private equity funds."

"We have only just formally gone to market but are already receiving strong interest from a number of parties."
