York Ranked Highly for Teaching Excellence

The University of York has been ranked 9th out of more than 240 institutions for its teaching excellence.
The university was awarded the title in the Times Higher Education Europe Teaching Rankings, which captured responses from 30,000 students in more than 10 European countries.
The ranking follows on from receiving a Gold Award in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
Commenting on the rankings, Professor John Robinson, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Teaching, Learning and Students, said: "We are delighted to be 9th in the Times Higher Education Europe Teaching Rankings 2018."
