Kingston University has entered into a three year partnership with Santander Universities to create more internship scholarship opportunities, along with enterprise education schemes and bursaries.
Santander has already donated more than £650,000 to the University since launching its partnership in 2012. The goal of the partnership is to enhance education, employability and entrepreneurship outcomes for students.
Santander Universities has been delighted with the way the partnership with Kingston University had evolved and the breadth of support available to students. Director of Santander Universities UK Matt Hutnell said. "I've just been talking to one of the students we've supported and she had a great, big smile on her face. That's what it's about - how we can provide support for students in Kingston".
Kingston University is consistently rated one of the top universities in the United Kingdom for graduate start-ups and Vice-Chancellor Professor Steven Spier said the Santander Universities partnership supported its important work in enterprise education. He said: "This partnership fits perfectly with our strategy to build ever stronger links with business for the benefit of students, industry and the wider community. Renewing our partnership agreement with Santander Universities enables us to continue to build on this vital activity."
