A tired former college in Dundee could be transformed into student flats if plans are approved.
The building was acquired by its new owners in January for a reported £500,000.
According to the developers Scodd Ltd, there is high demand for new student accommodation in Dundee and is planning to build 310 bedrooms.
The plans also feature a cinema, private dining rooms, a bar, gym, library, meeting rooms, laundry facilities and a karaoke suite.
Council planning officers have supported the development, recommending its approval.
Whilst locals have objected to the scheme suggesting there is enough nearby accommodation already, city councillors suggest the development would enhance the character and layout of the surrounding area.
