Cain International, in partnership with Olympian Homes, has announced plans for the redevelopment of St James House in Bristol, which will become the city's tallest building at 28 storeys. The project will deliver 574 beds, comprising 442 student accommodation beds and 132 larger co-living units, and is part of Cain's £800m PBSA platform. This development adds to Cain's portfolio of 3,000 beds across the UK, following five PBSA completions in 2023.

St James House will feature 15,000 sq ft of premium amenities, including a cinema, fitness suite, study areas, games room, and dining facilities. The project targets BREEAM Excellent and WiredScore Platinum certifications. Situated near the University of Bristol and key transport links, the scheme is expected to complete by the 2028/29 academic year, with RG Group appointed as the contractor. This project reinforces Cain’s growth in the living sector, complementing its equity and credit strategies.
