Alpha Homes Group, a student accommodation provider, have appointed RSM UK to oversee the sale of their 30-bed student accommodation property in Highgate, Aberdeen.

Following a build-up of unpaid rent, investors in the Highgate development made the decision to appoint administrators.

With student tenants still occupying the property, the company continues to trade.

Administrators are working to ensure potential returns are maximised for creditors through the sale of the property, whilst also ensuring there are no disruption of services for current residents.

Partner at RSM UK, Paul Dounis, is acting as joint administrator. Dounis commented: "With student tenants currently residing in the property, we want to ensure trade continues, ensuring minimal disruption to the residents and their living situation, as we seek to sell the Aberdeen site."

"As part of this process, we are engaging with property agents and relevant stakeholders to ensure we ascertain all the necessary information to update tenants and facilitate an agreeable sale."
