Ecclesall Road

Any list of Sheffield student areas would not be complete without mentioning Ecclesall Road. One of the city's most sought-after student neighbourhoods, Ecclesall Road is packed with shops, restaurants, bars, and pubs. Be sure not to miss Quids every Wednesday at 'The Tav' (The Nursery Tavern) where students can get drinks for under £1.75. 

Ecclesall Road is also conveniently positioned within walking distance of both universities in the city. In particular, students studying at Sheffield Hallam University tend to live on Ecclesall Road, as the Collegiate campus is very close by. 

Sheffield City Centre

The city centre is a buzzing, vibrant student area in Sheffield. When you live in Sheffield city centre, you'll always be surrounded by fun things to do, no matter what your interests are. Watch a performance at the Lyceum Theatre or the Crucible Theatre, enjoy the art exhibitions at the Millennium Gallery, or hit the clubs with your friends in the evening.
