Permitted Fees:
Payment of £240 if you want to change the tenancy agreement (less if it is only a small change, but if the change involves a lot of work, this is the maximum charge)
Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England Base Rate (currently this is equal to 3.75% in total - as of May 2019)
Payment of £36 + the cost of the replacement key/security device for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices
Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy
Before the start of the tenancy:
Holding Deposit: 1 week's rent
Tenancy Deposit: 5 weeks' rent
During the tenancy (payable to the Agent)
For English properties:
Payment of the greater of £50 and reasonably incurred costs for the variation, assignment or novation the tenancy agreement
Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of up to 3% + Bank of England base rate
Payment for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices that are supported in writing and supplied to the payer
Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy
During the tenancy (payable to the provider) if permitted and applicable
Utilities: Gas, Electricity, Water and Sewage
Communications: Fixed line telephone and broadband
Installation of cable/satellite and subscription to cable/satellite supplier
Television licence
Council Tax
Other permitted payments:
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
