About 2-miles south of the city centre, Rusholme is just north of Fallowfield and a very popular area among students. There are several student halls in the area but also a lot of very affordable terraced houses which represent some of the best value accommodation the inner city has to offer.
Salford is a large borough of the city of Manchester that is situated north of the city centre. It is home to the University of Salford and as such is extremely well connected to the rest of Manchester by both university shuttle buses and public transport in general.
