Derby's City Centre consists of the Intu Derby shopping centre, the Cathedral Quarter, and St Peter's Quarter. Students that live in the City Centre have a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and clubs on their doorstep. However, the rent prices here are more expensive than the surrounding neighbourhoods.
The University of Derby's Kedleston Road campus and Markeaton Street are both within walking distance, but there are also buses to get you to both campuses.
