Puma Property Finance has announced that it will be providing a £24m development facility for the latest addition to the Vita Group's PBSA portfolio.

Located in Belfast City Centre, 'Bruce Street' will be the first ever Vita Student to open in Northern Ireland.

Consisting of 269 studio beds, the accommodation is now taking bookings for the 23/24 academic year. Located conveniently for both Queen's University and Ulster University, the location in the heart of the city is ideal for students.

The 15-storey accommodation will be completed to high standards, and facilities will include a gym, study rooms, and dining rooms.

Historically, Puma has a strong track record of funding PBSA. This addition takes their total development of student beds to over 2,000 across 10 different developments.

Puma Property Finance's Kevin Davidson said: "We're delighted to support this development in what we hope will offer best-in-class service to Belfast's bustling student population. This development will represent Vita's debut and expansion into Northern Ireland. Vita is already well-known for providing significant amounts of amenity space in comparison to other developers and this will carry across to its latest Belfast development.

Moreover, with reports of widespread student accommodation shortages creating challenges across the UK, we are proud to continue our ongoing efforts to support developments of this nature."

Max Bielby, Chief Operating Officer for Vita Group said: "Puma's track record in PBSA makes them the perfect finance partner for Belfast, providing the business with relevant funding to deliver this exceptional building, creating a stand-out product in this new territory."
