An announcement has been released by Swansea University that they will be officially partnering with two of the city's PBSA providers.

A three-year deal has been made between the university and providers true student and Seren. This will provide the university with an additional 800 beds for their undergraduate and postgraduate students.

True student's true Swansea on Morfa Road in the city centre offers 550 beds across ensuite rooms in clusters of 5 and 6, as well as studio rooms. Ensuite rooms in the accommodation are listed at £178 pppw (per person per week), and studio rooms are £214. The accommodation also boasts communal areas including a gym, cinema, onsite pizzeria and cafe, and communal study zones.

A further 250 bed spaces will be available at Seren's accommodation located opposite Swansea Train Station. Arrange in clusters of 8, 10, and 12, Ensuite rooms will be available at £170, £165, and £160 pppw. Studio rooms are priced at £185. Facilities in the accommodation include a gym and half basketball court, indoor and outdoor cinema, gaming rooms, karaoke rooms, a landscaped courtyard with BBQs, a rooftop terrace, a library, and private study spaces.

The University's Registrar and Chief Operating Officer, Niamh Lamond said: "We are delighted to have this new agreement with true student and Seren which will mean that all first-year students, including those who come through Clearing, will be guaranteed accommodation as part of our offer to them. It also gives our students an even wider range of accommodation choices, while still giving them that all-important Swansea University experience."
