University of Cardiff

Located in the cobbled city of Cardiff in the West country, the University of Cardiff boasts world leading research, over 30,000 students and according to the 2014 Research Excellence Framework it was ranked 5^th in the UK. The university is wrapped around the historic Welsh city that exudes culture and tradition.

It has two main campuses: Cathays Park campus and Heath Park campus. The former being where the more academic schools are based and the latter places a heavy focus upon healthcare. The institution has recently embarked on a new development project in order to create a new research-based campus called Maindy Park.

University of South Wales

With 30,000 students from over 130 countries across the world, the University of South Wales offers a diverse and inclusive university experience to all. The university runs 345 undergraduate courses and in the last 7 years has invested £170m into campus development. Located on five different campuses spread around South Wales, the university provides a range of experiences with two of the campuses based in the vibrant cities of Cardiff and Newport, and the latter three situated in more rural areas.
