Central heating and a lockable door complete the room. When you need a break, the shared, fully equipped kitchen has a cooker, fridge, freezer and microwave for cooking with your flatmates.

Facilities Downstairs, WiFi Throughout
WiFi is included in your rent and provided by ASK4, so online lectures, research and streaming are all covered. Speeds can sometimes be lower when the building is busiest, and you can test your connection at any time using the ASK4 speed checker. When you step away from your desk, there’s an on-site gym, shared study areas, a common room with a communal TV, a laundry room with washers and tumble dryers, and a post room for deliveries. The building also has disabled access.

Campus, Trains and the Town
As an en suite in Bolton town centre, The Cube keeps your commute short. The University of Greater Manchester, formerly the University of Bolton, is roughly a 10–15 minute walk away. Bolton station is under ten minutes on foot, with direct trains reaching Manchester Piccadilly in around 20 minutes. That’s handy for placements, libraries, interviews and networking events in the city.

Space to Breathe
When you need a proper break from the books, head out of town to the Smithills Estate. This is the Woodland Trust’s largest site, with moorland, woodland walks and big views over Bolton. Closer to home, the historic Queen’s Park is good for a lunchtime walk, and the town centre’s cafés are perfect for a coffee-fuelled study session.

Our on-site management teams look after the building, which has 24-hour security, CCTV, fob entry and Maintenance service is managed centrally by the company.
