The university has two campuses: Park Campus, which is based in a northern suburb called Kingsthorpe, and the second, Avenue Campus, which is shortly north of Northampton town centre. The town itself has plenty to offer, from several sporting activities with a motor-racing and white-water rafting centre, to multiple cultural and leisure facilities. Sport is integral to life on campus too with around 1,500 students partaking each week. In addition, the Student’s Union cover all costs making it entirely student free and one of two institutions in the entire country to do so.
