As well as paying the rent, you may also be required to make the following permitted payments:
Before the tenancy starts (payable to I G Property ‘the Agent’)
Holding Deposit: 1 week’s rent
Deposit: Varies per property (limited to a maximum of 5 weeks’ rent)
During the tenancy (payable to the Agent):
Payment of up to £50 inc VAT (£240 inc VAT if Tenancy Agreement entered into before 1st June 2019) if you want to change the tenancy agreement (including our replacement tenant process, unless our reasonable costs are higher.
Payment of £30 inc VAT (£21 inc VAT if Tenancy Agreement entered into before 1st June 2019) if you want to amend your direct debit, once this has been set up.
Payment of interest for the late payment of rent at a rate of 3.75% (limited to a maximum of 3% above base rate), where rent is more than 14 days overdue (£30 inc VAT per incidence of rent being more than 10 days late if Tenancy Agreement entered into before 1st June 2019).
Payment of up to £150 inc VAT for the reasonably incurred costs for the loss of keys/security devices.
Payment of any unpaid rent or other reasonable costs associated with your early termination of the tenancy.
During the tenancy (payable to the provider, or to I G Property if utilities are included in your rent) if permitted and applicable:
Utilities – gas, electricity, water
Communications – telephone and broadband
Installation of & subscription to cable/satellite
Television licence
Council Tax
Other permitted payments:
Any other permitted payments, not included above, under the relevant legislation including contractual damages.
