Known for:

Combe Down is a residential area south of the city centre. While it’s further away from the city than Oldfield Park, it’s still a popular area for University of Bath students due to the proximity to campus. It’s also easier for students to cycle to classes when living in Combe Down since it’s located on the same hill as the university. There are quite a few local shops on Bradford Road and some pubs in the area, but you should plan to travel if you're looking for a night out.
