Mooregate House is a purpose built private hall of residence conveniently situated adjoining the main bus and tram terminus in central Beeston. Students staying for the year receive a complimentary tram pass providing easy access to University Park (West Entrance 5 mins, South Entrance 7 mins) and QMC (9 mins).
The location is opposite the Tesco Extra superstore; Beeston's excellent range of shopping and other facilities are also on your doorstep.
The rooms are arranged in clusters of 4, 5 or 6 people sharing a communal kitchen and dining area. We are happy to discuss with you so that we can allocate you in a room sharing with similar and suitable flat mates.
The rent is charged at £120 per week inclusive of all bills for 51 week contracts or £130 per week for 44 weeks. .
The accommodation is suitable for students or academic visitors only.
Please note that the flats are undergoing internal refurbishment during the year - the images show a refurbished flat. 4 flats are being completed for September and then remaining ones will be refurbished following. Students that move in to an refurbished flat initially will be moved in to a refurbished flat as soon as the work has been completed. Location
Mooregate House is situated on Middle Street in Beeston town centre, opposite the main bus and tram terminus and the Tesco superstore.
Beeston is very well served by public transport. Buses leave every few minutes connecting Beeston with Nottingham and Derby. The Nottingham buses pass University Park and QMC and pass close to Jubilee Campus.
There are also regular tram services connecting Mooregate House with Nottingham College - Beeston campus (journey time 3 minutes), University of Nottingham West Entrance 5 minutes , South Entrance 7 minutes, Queens Medial Centre 9 minutes and Nottingham Train Station 20 minutes. Beestons railway station is a 10-minute walk from Mooregate House. There are regular services in to Nottingham station (journey time 6 minutes) and direct services to London St Pancras (journey time 1 hour and 40 minutes approx.)

Beeston town centre has an excellent array of grocery and other shopping facilitates including Tecso, Sainsburys and Lidl, independent green grocers, fishmongers, butchers and bakers. There are also specialist international food shops and a selection of restaurants and take aways providing food options from around the world.
Beeston's friendly local population makes the town an attractive base for students studying at Nottingham's Universities and Colleges.
Mooregate Flats
Rooms in Mooregate House are arranged in flats of between 4 and 6 people. We always ensure that residents share with like minded residents - if you are interested in a room then we will discuss and suggest a flat that we think matches your requirements.
In each flat there is a communal kitchen and dining area. TVs are provided within the communal area.
There are washer dryers in the newly refurbished flats and communal laundry facilities for the to be refurbished flats within the building (use of the machines is free).
Kitchen
Shared kitchen with oven and hob, fridge freezers, microwave, kettle and toaster. Dining table and chairs. There will be a large flat screen TV. Refurbished flats also feature a washer dryer and dishwasher.
En suite Bedroom
Each bedroom comes with its en suite bathroom. Bathrooms come with modern shower pods, WC and wash hand basin.
In the rooms there will be a 3/4 size bed, wardrobe and drawers, desk and chair and bookshelf.

There is a car park to the front of the property (parking permit required - ask for more details).

Each room is fitted with an electric panel radiator.
Terms
Contracts are available for between 44 and 51 weeks.
Students staying for the academic year will be provided with a tram pass for the year (51 weeks) or scholl year (44 weeks) providing unlimited travel on the tram network (further details of this scheme on request from CP Walker).

Bills
The property is offered to let on a bills inclusive basis. The bills included are gas, water, electric and internet plus TV licence. Cleaning is also provided through the kitchen and communal areas three times a week.
